What's the best source of info. on UK recalls?

The CPS failed without warning on our 2007 V6 Vito today. A bit of Googling turned up this recall in Australia
In June 2008, a recall was issued for models manufactured between May 2006 and October 2007 and fitted with the 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine. In these vehicles, an open circuit in the chip housing of the crankshaft position sensor could occur due to contamination of the silicone during the chip manufacturing process. As a result, the engine may lower power and not restart (PRA 2008/10088).

The normal VOSA search here brings up this recall for M, C, CLK, E, CLS, S, R & G- classes with the OM642 ... but not the Vito or Viano

Recall Details for MERCEDES BENZ - M, C, CLK, E, CLS, S, R & G- CLASSES.

Is there anywhere else to search?

Don't know if he is still 'the man'.

EDIT: I think you found the best place straight off. Maybe MB themselves could shed some light on why private vehicles and not commercial?

Was the Viano classed as a commercial by M-B? I though they were sold through the car dealerships ... might be wrong though.

We were incredibly lucky as Mrs BTB had been out and about all morning with 3 kids and 6 dogs in the van. She reversed into the drive, and just as she stopped in the normal place the engine died! Called out M-B Service 24H later on and they diagnosed the CPS - coming back tomorrow to fit a new one as they don't keep them in stock for the V6.
