Wow thanks for all the kind words peeps, Woke up this morning and the car is still sitting at the same height and no warnings on the dash :)
1st things 1st i gave her a quick Polish with some Mer as i find it's got some bite to it , I Just couldn't wait so did it outside my Unit at 7am lol.

Oil and filter change is on the cards this wkend as its been 7k since last done. Gone through the history and looks like the ATF has had at least 2 changes and she's even got 3 keys lol. Sun visor Passenger side needs replacing, new AMG boot badge as this one is slightly wonky and if im honest doesn't look Original, i maybe wrong. Oh and the glove box Shock absorber. The wing im still under decided on but i can see that being replaced instead of painted.

LOL it sounds a wreck reading all that back but i can confirm it looks and drives spot on, I am picky with my cars as most of you will know but it fingers crossed wont take to much to make this look extremely fresh. :)

Hallelujah, praise the lord!

Joking aside Gav, you’re a far more patient man than me and I’ll look forward to your little tweaks and refreshes over the coming months/years.

Congratulations Gav, so pleased for you and the fact you held out for what really you wanted. Looking forward to the updates!

Well tonight this happened, My Unicorn!

Now my Son Haydn, Named her Silvia, soo lol thats what she's called,She's a 2004 "04" Fsh with 101k on the clock, Just had time to give it a quick washed down and dry. Mammoth detail ahead me finks at the wkend. Pretty well specced, Command etc etc so far everything seems to work including the A/c ;) Came from a forum Member not to far from me. Anyway this is the start of my Project thread. :)
Lovely...but tell your son that Datsun has done Silvia already!!

We do have a Datsun in the family so perhaps thats what he was thinking his only 9 haha

I occasionally/ frequently wish I had an estate.

Something like that would fit the bill really well :)

Congrats on finding it, look forward to future news and updates.

Great News Gavin. Congratulations, great credit to you for your patience and I'm sure you will bring it up to Brutus standard. Cant wait for all the updates :):)

Congratulations Gav! It's always fulfilling when you get the car that you want. Patience definitely pays off!

Enjoy Silvia, will await your detailing updates and may nick a few ideas :)

Nice one Gav. I've already said my bit on FB, but I'm very pleased for you.
I always had in mind this was the model you wanted and those ML's were second choice.
As I said before, the wait was worthwhile.

Thankyou C43AMG , It's looking alot better already since its polish this morning ;) And..... took it for good drive tonight, and the 1st issue has arisen...

Yep Poxy Duo Valve Blowing hot air at the rear and only getting cold out of the front booooooooooo.... lol Had this exact same issue with Brutus so Monday i will have a new valve on order.

Ive got a brand new one laying around. PM Me ;)

Ouch, I was going to hit like then remembered I had the same on the old E220 when it was a hot day a couple of weeks ago. ;)

You do yours and I'll do mine too......

Well done Gav, it was worth holding out for the right car. It looks lovely and I’m sure that it will be in even better shape after it’s been in your hands for a while.

Looks in great shape there Gav, well done!

The best of both worlds eh... :D

First thing I thought of was Nissan when it came to Silvia as well.

So do tell Gav, where did you find the unicorn? Is there a garage full of different unicorn models somewhere out there? :D

Well Oil change i did last night night, Replaced the old stuff with the Genuine MB oil i had along with a Bosch Oil filter. She took bang on 8.5ltrs dropping the oil via both Drain plugs 13mm forward and rear. Then today i moved onto the Paint correction.

Snow foam rinse n dry, Followed by a Good clay, then a Megs Paint cleanse to remove any further contaminants the clay may have missed along with removing some minor scratches.
After that it was a Megs Autobright Polish with a machine polisher, finished off with a Gold Class Paste wax.
