Meet Silvia the s211 e55 7 seater

Thanks Bob, i mean it was 99.9% there , it's just there was the very slightest blip, so acute unless id have had the larger isssue it wouldnt have bothered me but your always looking for it once its happend, Well now its smoother than a hot knife through butter im well chuffed.

I reckon the box had been banging through the gear's for so long it had knocked this mount out. Still all resolved and i cant wait for the next drive lol.

The engine should rock a tiny bit.

As you know the engine mounts are fluid filled so a slight rock is better then rock solid.

Tbf these are on the list to do when i've saved enough readies but i dont think they need doing urgently if at all.

Well day off today so i thought id rub down the OSF brake pipe and give the whole OSF arch a clean up including the Stub axle wich got a clean and paint along with the brake disc.

Here we go again lol, on the flip side the Large oil cooler in the forward osf arch isn't leaking , unlike Brutus's one which i had to replace.
Ah the memories pmsl.

Just waiting for the Paint to dry then clean and refit the Arch liner's, :)

Looks good. ^

What do you use on the plastic inner wheel arch covers to get them back to looking more like new after a thorough wash?

Well done the Nsf now same as the Offside, Surprising how little things make all the difference, Silvia looking very smart these days.

My Son Has a big Operation at GOSH , 20th August and whilst checking the recent cooling worry i've decided to get the Radiator changed as i dont wont to chance the car over heating in London, Despite looking at engineering mode and recording temps at 92 degrees whilst running i still think its worth doing age and mileage considering.

Just Ordered,
Upper Transmission pipe to Rad a2112700527
Lower Transmission pipe to Rad a211270027
Seals x2 Just incase a0289976248
Thermostat inc housing a1132030275
And a Radiator From C & G Motor Factors , Never heard of them before but they have good reviews ;) lol

Watch this space for the next instalment tbc......

Had to go and pick the daughter up from work, Doh... Fuel light came on! its amazing how much Mpg you can achieve when that light comes on pmsl

I have been through many, many surgical procedures and it was at times scary. However the NHS are very good. It is very tough for the one looking on - just ask Mrs 6600. It is all for the best though and just think he will be better off once it's done. All the best mate. :thumb:

So this just happened....

Nice one Gav. Will be good to do a coolant change. Good luck, hopefully nothing is seized! :D

P.S get some cloth under that bumper or the bottom will get scratched :D

Radiator?

Yes , its out of the Range and Vin series to have been effected, But as ive said to others all these car's are getting old and at 100k miles the Radiator is being changed out of precaution. I'm also changing the Forward upper and lower metal pipe work to the rad as these have become corroded over time.

This will be the 4th Rad ive changed on a 211 and i cant stand doing it lol but it makes sense. ;) "to me" anyway.:thumb:

I sneezed and look what happend!!

I know , i know, its abit Pikie But the Transmission pipes wouldnt come out of the Rad as there are rusted solid.... So my mate Angle hack and hammer got the free.

Radiator had alot of debris enough i think to make the car run alittle bit warm...
37846613_10156057069797284_361500246183772160_n.jpg

As i've said before effected or not by the Valeo issues these cars are getting old, Radiator was definitely due a change.
