BTW, I think theres 2 things changed on Inchcape

a) Initially , they used to quote EX VAT - now they include it. But they havent updated their T&C
b) They do not give 10% on everything. In fact they don't give 10% on most things as far as I can see (just the commonly used stuff). When there is a discount, you see it displayed. I havent seen them claiming to give 10% of on everything for a long time now.

I don't follow the assumption that there seems to be that the base price ought to be the same wherever you look.
I think retail price maintenance is illegal? so MB dealerships are free to charge whatever they like.

I think the Block Exemption Regulation allows car manufacturers to fix prices for spare parts, and to restrict the distribution of those parts to their dealer networks.
