My E55k parts on eBay (stolen)

Well checking eBay as I do every day
I noticed some parts that looked familiar
wheels , interior front end and brakes .
I called and enquired about some parts
and he duly confirmed what I needed to know
I have is name address ect , they were then removed
I guess he got spooked , he does sell car parts
so he could be a 3rd party to all this !!

Very sad to see your car like that but assuming the insurance pays out well, at least you won't be getting your now abused example back.

Really sorry mate....

Would you want it back if it was found whole? We lost a caravan which had so many personal items and bits that couldn't be replaced that our children had made / drawn. Not once did we hope to get it back though knowing the travelling community had been all over it!

On the plus side, at least you know its not being driven / enjoyed by some scum bag or unsuspecting buyer.

Your stress and heartache is the forthcoming insurance fight

Would you really want to accompany the police to a breakers yard to identify parts
off a stolen car? Unfortunately you have fore warned the suspected handler,and if
he has removed the listing,he will of moved the parts to another location.

I hope you get a satisfactory settlement from your insurance,then you can put this horrible
affair behind you

We do not yet know if the seller is the thief. Could be a breaker, could be unknowingly handling stolen goods.
