Need a new car for the wife

Wow sales are up then - must keep an eye out for those exclusive 09 plate Saabs. :D
LOL! But you know what, they're a tremendous deal right now! I saved £15K off new price when I bought mine in October (with just 90 miles on the clock) and as I intend to keep it long term, the further depreciation won't bother me (just hope Saab are able to continue to honour the 3 year warranty if I need it!). Great value cars and much better to drive than some will have you believe, especially the convertible! :)

Thanks for ALL your replies, i really am looking at EVERY bit of advice but i am looking mainly for a DIESEL S60 (at the MOMENT:p.)

Someone has just shown me, as i type this, (from todays Sun Motors section) that you can get a NEW 09 Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 Turbo Diesel SRi for £9,000 (saving £10,000) from Motor point car supermarket.
Any thoughts on this car for this price?

This was a load of rubbish, i went onto the site, the cheapest was about 3k more.
I think The Sun do the "FANTASTIC" headline to get people to look at the site cos Motorpoint advertise with them?

Sort of agree with Nick, however why not use an Auction Buyer, perhaps one recommended on Honest Johns site? It would save you the hassle of going to the auction, not to mention the lost days wage.
