Here is a sneak peak at the new headrest monitors I installed. These are from the current model ML class vehicle. These are actually mounted to the top of the seat frame and not touching the headrest. The screen articulates as well. Separate power, volume and contrast controls on each screen. Headphone jack and remote ir also. A factory MB DVD player has to be used with these monitors. The headrests have to be replaced as well as they are tapered in the rear to accomidate the monitors. The bulge you see in the seat is padding. I am still not done perfecting it.

Looks very nice - top job :)

The small gap you see in the back was adjusted and the monitors are not flush with the seat. Looks completely OEM. Time to wire them up now.

hi there on the back of the seats are they vents? and is this a mod you have done in a w203 or is it standard? as i have never seen this before and think its quite a good idea.the install looks cool let me know how it turns out as i might install rear headrests too,

Respect. Most impressive, is there any chance of getting some close-up pictures? I appreciate it will not be easy, but I would love to see the finish of this very nice looking modification.

Well done,
John

I agree with your concept using oem parts that are of higher quality than aftermarket. however these headrests look very akward to a c-class. The original headrests look nicer.

I still have not mounted the headrests. It's looks pretty ok from the front. The monitor is a little bulky though. I'm getting use to it. It's the only OEM solutiomn that would work. As for the vents, those are for the ventilated seats in the car.
