I am !
Can anyone shed any light on this? I changed the valve seals and though that i had solved the problem of plugs oiling up - but in fact i have noticed when the engine is warmed up, there is a small trace of blue smoke, which was not there before....This happens when i rev up to about 3000 rpm. It's not huge but it is there for all to choke on.

How could this be? What have i done? Do i need to call a BBC help line and lie down?

Driven it much since changing the v/seals? Plugs still oiling up?

not really much. just a few short trips down the road. the plugs have not oiled up yet, but tomorrow i will go on a 30 mile run.

Yeah, do drive it for a while and see what is exactly happening then. The great the trip mileage the better while avoiding Syria! Clearly know were you oil level is before hand & reset the trip meter. Also, if there's a cat fitted add a good dose of some type of cat clean product if you can get it there (read the instruction re: mixture & double it) or failing that fuel injection cleaner (ideally 300ml to a 1/4 tank).
