New (white) car protection

Don't use sponges to wash, biggest culprit off micro scratches and always use two buckets, one to wash with and the other to rinse your wash mitt in

So if you don't use a sponge, what do you use? sorry for my ignorance, just only ever used a sponge :)

Use either a noodle mit or best of all a lambwool mit. I have the megs one.

IMHO purchase Jeff's Werkstatt Acrylic Prime Strong. It works very well as a prep, polish & sealant on white paint. I use it religiously on Porsche paint & white cars, and gives a great plastic effect on white.

Sponges are flay surfaced so will glide all the dirt particles along the paint leading to micro marring. Although this isnt something that is obvious is detracts massively from the overall appearance. It just wont look as "glossy" or "shiny".

Noodle mits and lambs wool mits have thick piles so they 'sweep' up the dirt with plenty of space for it to go without pressure forcing it back onto the paint work. as you sweep along.

Second the two bucket method. I cringe to think I how used to clean...sorry wreck my car before.

Best value for money 'good' product available in my opinion :thumb:
