Perfomance, wish my car had some! please help

i just got this loverly c classs 250 turbo , but its slugish as hell and when i get to 70mph feels like its going to bounce off the road scarey driving, so i checked all the turbo pipes i could see couldnt see any clracks/slits but there war oil everywere so i moped up what i could then took for a spin , thought right going see what it will do got to 83mph then the oil light came on so i backed off pulled over and agine oil all over that plastic top pipe! i replace the clamps but still its got no guts! for normal driving its fine but if u wnt to overtake you cant do it! just end up looking stuiped! now this is sposed to be a 150bhp motor , i drove my missis 90bhp proton last night and that was ten times faster and controll was loverly .
this merc has just had new mot from which it had new fuel lines, 4x new tyers, new filters and oil change only last week!
(also the cruise,Abs and traction controll dont work but there is no lights on so car thinks abs and asr are working whys that??
any advise pleaese

Interestingly your car is fitted with (by the sounds of it a knackered) OM605 which is one on the most tuneable Merc engines of all time. 300BHP is easily and reliably attainable, however the bits aren’t cheap. Look on youtube at OM605 and OM606 superturbodiesels.

When you buy your car? Sometimes it happens we do not know the problem but happens. Maybe their is some problem in its engine.
