Playing MP3 cds

It is a MOST based cd changer. E-class switched to MOST fibre system with the W211 so it wont work in your car.

You can fit the 6 disc cd changer that was available for your car but it doesnt play mp3.
 
I know I might be stating the obvious when your burning the CD's they are in MP3 format some units don't like WMA and MP4 formats also could be the discs not all brands work well in car cd units
 
If it's of any help - I use Windows media player (as included with Windows Vista) to select MP3 tracks and just burn an audio CD.

Just insert a blank CD and follow the on-screen promts for burning an Audio CD using Media Player.

It's not as efficient as being able to burn umpteen MP3 tracks onto a CD, but still gives about 80 minutes of music.

In fact I'm just leaving a CD to burn while popping up the road for a fish and chip supper.
