Problem, opinions needed..

i call you tomorrow?

im around tomorrow morning if you want to meet up

sms me.

thanks

I'm down in Harrow all morning with the CLS - come over if you like, I'll tell you where on my way down.

Sell. It is just a car after all, albeit a very emotional one.

Your business is much more important and having some cash in it will help it recover more quickly. Once you are back on your feet an equivalent vehicle will have depreciated from today's value. Buying it will mitigate the hit you'll have to take by selling your current one now.

Plus I find Clients do not approve of seeing big expensive cars in these straightened times. Arriving to meetings in a Toyota will be tick the right PR boxes.

Good luck for the future.

Arriving to meetings in a Toyota will be more likely than the CLS making the journey.

 :D

Sell the CLS. It reduces headaches as well as financial impact.

Gotta admit..

it looked very very good from underneath today..

sell both.. and forget the e coupe... u dont fit.. lol

get a bmw 6.. job done!

It did look good underneath didn't it! :D

Thanks for popping over! :)

Update

For those who might be interested (and those who wished me well!), my situation has got back on track, albeit in a slightly different way in that my main client work will move from internet to intranet (subtle difference! LOL)

This will mean more "on site" work than ever before for me, but that's oK, I'm just really grateful it's sorted!

So, CLS saw out the dodgy phase and has stayed with me!! Complicated situation in that a cousin of mine had wanted it, then realised he couldn't afford it blah blah..... so, luckily things worked out before me needing to sell it.

But, I do still feel that it's a time bomb, but for now, while the dust settles, I'll carry on enjoying what is a splendid car when it works (like Steve;s Shed - when it works it's lovely!!)

Mind is drifting towards either a facelift CLS or.......... dare I say this.... 6 Series..:ban:

Anyway, thanks all those who wished me well! (fingers crossed for some reliable CLS fun now! :D

Good news but I think the car needs to go, but not for the near ill fortune you had but because its been troublesome. Once troublesome in my limited experience always troublesome

CLS Grand Edition... :D

If you happy with the diesel, Grand edition is definitely the way to go. When it was clean (not very often I'm ashamed to say) I always thought it was one of the best looking cars on the road.
Excellent news about the business btw. :thumb:
