Hi Peeps!
I have a 96 SL500 (first facelift), and I am going to replace the bumpers and sill covers with those from a 98 model (second facelift). Whilst the bumpers should be straightforward, I'm not sure about the sills. I haven't seen the car or the parts for a while, but the existing sills are metal iirc, and the covers are plastic.
Does anyone know what's involved replacing the sills, and is surgery required please? Thanks in advance.
