Recommend a Garage in Essex/London for a B Service

I need to have a service done in the next 3-4 weeks and dont want to drive more than 50 miles.
I would rather not use a M/B Garage unless they had special deals on prices, so dont mind using Independents.

A few pointers:

Many MB dealers are starting to price-match independants, because they're short on work.

On such a new/valuable car (I believe you've got an R230 SL?) I would consider keeping full MBSH for at least the basic service, due to recall/warranty(?) work, resale value and Mobilo Life cover.

Consider using a good independant for the additional items that are needed - eg brakes, wear items - maybe plugs etc. That way you should still get the benefit of the full MBSH and perks, but save on the labour rate for these routine items.

It's not much further than your net - I'd get it down to Ollie at PCS (Prestige Car Services). He's got a good Mercedes-Benz specialist garage just off the A3 near Horndean. Probably an hour and a bit drive but well worth it

hi Alfie, prestige car specialist is an independent MB specialist which i use for all my MB (and some non-MB ) work, not to be confused with Ollies "Prestige car services", which is also a very highly reccomended garage but in portsmouth.
