replacement engine problems

i have fitted a second engine from a 93k 190e into my 90H 190e and have stumbled across a few problems.

teh car fires up then cuts out immediately I have checked the fuel pump relays and replaced to no avail. the only way for me to start the car is to bypass the relay.

since then I have took the car to a spcecialist for merc and he has told me that because the 93 engine runs a CAT that is the reason for my problems. and that I will need to replace the inlet manifold to the original one for my car
