It just occured to me......

We are going to take up the whole site and the moneythey are going to make from us is not very much....

I personally don't think the location is good - but to be honest there is only a remote chance I will turn up - busy with new house and car is caked in mud and cement as you would expect effectivly living on a building site.

Have a nice time - won't be online after today until Monday, so let me know if there are any changes!!

How about we change it to the huge car park in Bushy Park (400 yards down the road) and we all bring a picnic ?

Then no problems with landlords, 1000 + parking spaces , no busy roads and we can watch the wildlife (and yummy mummys ) .

There is a cafe on site too

I know its a bit late in the day but how does this sound ?

If theres a general agreement i shall PM everyone....

That sounds like a much better GTG envirnoment. Can peruse the cars, and chat without splitting into groups at tables (in a pub) and not upset anyone.

Would you still go for 4pm?

Looks like I'm going to have to bail. I'll be working on the new house. As an update - it's now been almost four months since we bought the house and we've still not moved in. We're still living in a single room at my mother's. I *really* want to get moved in, so I'll be helping paint walls and stuff.

changing the location is one thing but to change the time as well so late in the day wouldn't be wise (or at least I don't think so).

We are aiming to be there but if it was any earlier we'd have no chance of making it.

We've met in pubs before without a problem and not everyone drinks diet coke

Bushy Park sounds good to me, I lived in Teddington as a kid and used to go there every day! Think it has more than one car park though ... you mean the one nearest the fountain?

Agreed. Better location and as Maff says, the last time we had a gtg in a pub near Brands Hatch, they got the ****.

Its the 'P' by the Boating lake , just to the right of the Diana fountain...

The green road you can see joining from the left (the A308) is the road the previous location (the Bell) is on..... about half a mile down the road

If you click the green arrow by the middle left square once, you will see the Bell just on the edge of shot....

Yes, it is open weekends but I think it does close at dusk.
