As title.

I'm trying to diagnose what potentially looks like a blockage in my Power steering, so i'd need to at least flush the oil through. What one, and what quantity? Do the motor factors like GSF do a suitable alternative?

Thanks!

Handbook?
Usually an ATF is used in PAS systems, but I wouldn't go straight to anything without first reading the OEM recommendation.
Might your blockage be a collapsed hose?

I should clarify.

Do i _have_ to use the magical MB fluid, or can I put something like Dextron II in it?

Unless anxious to maintain some warranty, you are not compelled to use MB products, which, in any case are someone elses products rebranded.
Any ATF of the recommended Type will suffice. Don't skimp on quality though - better quality lubricants tend to be kinder to seals and hoses, helping avoid leaks.

Last time I went to MB to inquire about the PAS fluid they told me that there were two types....one is green and the other is another colour and the told me that I would have to bring the car in for them to have a look.

The cost is about £14 per litre.
