Just to open his options up, dare I mention the S211 E63?

They seem to be in amongst the E55 prices right now.

I love the way you keep selling me your old car!!

E63's in his price bracket scare me a bit. The engines aren't as robust as the m113 in my opinion.

That one ^^ has been up and down in price a few times...

I don't think its changed in price since the original ad back in June. There was another black one up in Lancashire with a lot more miles that varied a bit.
You might check with CCA about the import bit as they may have had to check it was legal to sell before they listed it?

Thank you for your help David! We've found the CCA listing for the car now. They mention the tailgate as being iffy too.

Did your friend find a decent estate in the end?

I'm having a dilemma at the moment around mine and whether it should stay or go, probably not one for your friend due to mileage which is why I am wondering if it's time to offload or just bite the cost bullet and stay with the smiles.

Interested int eh state of the market I guess.
