S211 Stainless Steel Tailgate Trim Clips

Folks,

I've recently bought a 2004 S211 320CDI and am in the process of fixing all the little niggles, one of which relates to the stainless steel plate at the lip of the load area.

There appears to be a little too much flex and movement in the plate, I've removed the metal screws that hold it down and there appear to be some plastic clips at the edge opposite to the screws... all the clips are broken.

An easy replacement from MB dealer? Any online parts catalogues I can trawl to get a part number?

It's been a long time, but I recall they are replacement parts and available for pence from an MB dealer.

Take your VIN along.

My first S211 E had the same broken clips.
