E-Tyres were far cheaper than the competition for my replacement Michelin tyres. They came to my house and an excellent job was done in no time.
Getting the tyre repaired would be madness, it is the only contact you have with the road surface.
Oh! the merry japes...



Being a plutocrat, I can well afford the cost but being a Scot I hate parting with the cash. I wake up at night to see if I've lost any sleep...
I had no intention of trying a repair but the waste sticks in my craw.
Kwik-Fit, Galashiels still cheaper that E-Tyres - they're quoting £103.10 fully fitted etc.

kth286 - I've always fitted Michelins and can't say I've noticed undue road noise. I suppose I can only make an unfavourable subjective assesment based on my experiences of other cars I've been in - all of which have had lower profile and wider tyres.
