Selling details of gearbox reset

Why not write to him via ebay asking him if it's any different from.....and then list "the secret must be paid for method!"? Might be fun.

He's making a tidy little side line out of it. Average of 4 transactions a day if they all have the £1.99 "postage" (email?) as well as the sale price then he's getting £100/week for little effort.

don't comprenday jose

Sorry, perhaps not as clear as I might have been.

What I'm suggesting is that someone writes to him describing the method we all know, and ask him if his system is different? That should cut his sales.

who said 4 a day? and at 4*2*7=56..

Cheers Jay

:o That'll teach me to take business calls and post at the same time:o .

I stand by the fourish a day tho' based on the last few days. Not bad for fresh air though.

I am going to bid on it and then contact him a few days later saying it has creamed my gearbox and my car is out of warranty.

If you wanted to queer his pitch you could post a similarly titled ad with the information in the description so that it lists next to his 'secret.'

Just sent this:

Hi,
This is a gearbox/engine re-set your are selling I am sure of it. I have been told about it many times. I am a Mercedes technician and can honestly say it does not work. It is supposed to re-set the gearbox adaptations but it actually does nothing. I have tried it and checked the adapatation data after the "re-set" and it does not change.
I would be wary of selling a product that does not work.

Lets see his reply

Dammit! Why didnt someone say before?? What a waste of £4. Could have bought more flour and eggs for that :p

Similar to those selling service indicator resets.
