Slow car fast OR Fast car slow??

When you think about it logically, we are all driving fast cars slowly. Most Mercs nowadays will do 120, 130, 140, 150 whatever. With a national speed limit of 70 many of us are just about reaching half our maximum speed.

Leave the computer running and don't reset it for a few months and it is staggering how slow the average speed has become that we do in the UK. Make a good thread. What's your average speed?

Every week I go off onto B roads and remember what driving was once like. Lovely.

I think both Scumbag and Dieselman have rode their push bikes faster than most folks drive their cars on our local roads (apart from a certain Aston Martin )

It's fun to be in a fast car and pull away slowly from the lights as the boy racer next to you screeches off thinking you were going to race him. Helps if you glance over as you're sat at the red light then really grip the wheel like you mean business
