Slow to start s211 2007

Hi guys,

When I get to the car in the morning I have to turn the key to 2nd position for 6-10seconds before trying to start or the car will just continually turn over for 6 seconds before starting
Any ideas?

After 6 sec wait, does the car start immediately? Is fuel filter changed when? Is glow plug light working normally?

I would be checking for air getting into the diesel supply lines.

Fuel filter changed and glow plug light goes off after a few seconds. It just takes ages to prime the fuel lines
