Hi,

I have a 2005 CLK 220 CDI that I am about to sell.

The interior is very good nick for 87k, only issue is that there's a small, 4cm tear in the drivers bolster.

Past quotes have been around £100 to redo the "vinyl" as can't be easily repaired.

I've had a bit of duct tape over it and not cared.

Do you guys think it's worth paying to get this done pre-sale or just leaving it and just making it known / allowing the viewer to decide how big a deal it is for them.

Repair it, otherwise a seller will only try and knock you down for more than the actual repair costs.

I paid £100 for a replacement section on a drivers seat bolster in Artico.

£100 for a repair seems expensive.

I'd get it done though, for the reason SPX mentioned.

thanks, I suspected as much.

I'll perhaps lookout for a replacement from a breakers or ebay to ensure an exact match.

developer215 may I ask where you got your section?
