Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer 750ml £5:52 delivered

Looks like they have run out of stock, even though showing in stock when I ordered them :dk:

Hi,

I’m just writing to let you know that we have an update for your order

After you placed your order, we have now successfully chased our suppliers to provide us with a lead time for the out of stock item in your order.

We can confirm that the parts are expected at our warehouse on or before 10th June 2016.

As soon as we receive them here, we will ensure that the parts are dispatched on a priority service and be with you within a couple of days from dispatch.

We will keep you updated if there are any obstacles with the order, however at this very moment, everything seems to be in place.

I collected my bottle earlier and have alraedy put it to the test.
To be fair the car was pretty clean to start with having cleaned it at the weekend but i think i can see an improvement.
I normally use Carplan Deamon shine which i find very good also but the Sonax does seem to have a slightly better shine.

My two bottles arrived today courtesy of DHL. Impressive service and notified yesterday it would be arriving today.

Mine too - shipping must have cost them as much as the bottles themselves :)

Mine Too, bargain!..... done the car already this afternoon. Sad I Know!

Yep, arrived today. Must be a loss leader.

OK - I saw the discussion about this product and bought some despite having never used a quick detailer type product before.
How should this be used then please?
Straight onto clean bodywork (after wash)?
Or should there be a layer of wax on prior to using this?

Also I've read of people using QD's when drying a car??

All input gratefully received.

My preference is to have previously waxed the car. A QD spray is for after a weekly wash where you are topping up the protection.

Spray onto clean bodywork and spread with a microfibre cloth. Flip cloth to remove excess.

So glad I picked this up, used it for the first time today and it is the best wet wax that I have used. Put it on while drying the car and it has left a lovely shine.

I keep buying the damn stuff everytime EuroCarParts sends an additional 25 % off. Got an additional 3 bottles for just over a fiver each. Inc delivery!

Silver is a challenging colour to work with to get deep reflections (like white) as it lacks contrast range.

Graphites and blacks makes the job much easier.

Thanks for the advice. Just ordered 2 with high hopes.

Any advice on really good real leather cleaner and conditioner? Having worries about putting something unsuitable on my nappa leather seats.

So, apply while car is wet, or dry the car and then apply? What do people prefer to do?

I apply while dry
