Sprinter Thefts...!!!

Hey, Im in the market for a second Van and am generally after a Sprinter 313 but wouldn't mind snatching a 316 if i can find one...

They are unbelievably rare as i cant even find the one im after on google..lol

Im after a Sprinter 316 MWB hi roof in WHITE... lol keep an eye out...

And as for the sprintshift... am i right in assuming they're are the equivalent to paddleshift gearboxes nowadays?

No SprintShift is completely different. Our first Sprinter was an automatic and was replaced by the SprintShift.

With SprintShift you can both hear and feel the gearbox changing gear. When chaging up from say fifth, you will feel the box change first into nuetral, then it will change into sixth. When changing down, it works the same way, but matches the revs of the lower gear... very clever.

There's a picture of the SprintShift gear lever on this thread and you can use it to manually change up or down operate similar to tiptronic, but it is a clutchless manual, as opposed to an automatic box. Don't forget it's a six speed. I don't think Mercedes-Benz actually produce a six speed tiptronic??
