Suzzie, the CLK 500 so this happened

@350cls , I’ve not discounted a ML but more of a car man tbh, I borrowed a employee’s w211 to do a delivery the other day and the comfort over the clk was night and day, Cls, E, may even go S , not really sure atm. Still will have to sell the Clk 1st but there’s no hurry on my part it’s such lovely car to look at lol

I would really like to own an S class one day. I imagine them to be pure luxury. The seats I imagine to be divine.

I've had quite a few S-classes all 126 platform my Business partner had a w140 600sel back in the day, Then recently he got a 2013 w221, i was disapointed in the quality of the switch gear but the ride and general quietness of it was very impressive.

Stop it buddy or I’m going to get lost on Autotrader ….again ;)

Nothing wrong with looking lol, it's when you forget which key goes with each car it gets messy 🤭.

I can confirm that seats in the W222 are divine!

Although I've not tried the billy basic ones... I've only ever driven my S500 and an S450, both with the front seat comfort option which gives a lot more adjustment.

W222s seem great value these days too

So lesson learned lol, asked my boy to wash the car down two bucket method and dry it 😣 doh.... ended up putting swirls into the finish....

Now I did the above because of my back issue which now meant I spent today between showers with the machine polisher lol
Still no harm done used a spray wax to finish it,
Fingers crossed the weather will be warm enough to give it a paste wax to seal the finish.

Pretty smart for only a 50cc

So whilst the wife has been cooking lol I’ve been busy , Gave the old girl "the car" haha a wash although no Polish just a wash down with the pressure washer and shampoo’d the interior as my youngest left muddy foot prints in her doh... the Zymol holding up well in the winter conditions.

Not sure if id mentioned previously but i've also Just had 2x new KYB shocks fitted up front she now rides even better, they we not that bad but id done the back recently and doing the fronts really make her ride like factory.

Back on her OE, wheels for the winter, had a few interested people but my back has made a good recovery and thankfully that an wrighty’s advise getting in bout of her isn’t as much of a issue.
Probably keep her over the winter with light use and look for a Cls or similar the summer .

Looking soooo good - makes me a bit ashamed of ours now!

Finally got the rough idle sorted - plugs cleaned and new ignition leads seems to have sorted that.
One tyre kept going down but there was a little corrosion on the wheel which was preventing a full seal - that's now sorted.
Roof needs a gentle push to start folding back and from what I have discovered, the cure is disproportionate to the small inconvenience caused
Vents blow hot most of the time and it appears the fault is the most inaccessible motor possible which requires a large part of the dash removing, so not sure about what will happen with that yet. Any comments welcome on that one!!
Due for a detail which should be done next week

They are such nice cars though and the 240 is such a nice engine!

Thankyou Gollom,

i changed the Oil in the reservoir tank in the boot area on mine and greased all the mechanicals of the hood as it was getting a little stiff to operate, now its very quick and smooth in operation.

Re Heater valve, no i've not come across that one yet, i do how ever have a slight light tap under hard throttle no other time which going on a thread i found by @sjmaxwell could be my EGR valve seems common on the na m113, so i'll be getting that done in the new year when im back at work.

Fingers crossed on your heater valve, out of interest i'll have search on the web.
