I'm looking for a decent torque wrench - mainly for wheel nuts to clean the alloys properly every month - any recommendations up to £50? Also a decent tyre pressure gauge.

Got mine from Argos - £15. For doing wheel bolts (my requirement too) I guessed it would be good enough.

Is it the ratchet type? Cheap ones tend to break in my experience.

Does Draper Expert still have a Lifetime Warranty on it? If you can get it for a few quid more then go for it. When I was doing a lot of spannering I used the DE stuff or Teng stuff and found them to be adequate, ie occasional rachet failures. This was acceptable as they were getting a right hammering, doing wheelnuts once a month won't stress it very much.

Mines a rachet, I think! I have only used it half a dozen times, feels OK, but didn't choose that one for any "real" use.

Cheers - seems like the Draper 3001A is a good buy at £20 odd.
