Trip to south france!

I go there every time I'm in France, which is about 3 or 4 times a month, lol.

I'm in Cannes for a week in October for MIPCOM, a TV trade event . Driving up from Southern Spain on the way back from Holiday. I've only ever flown there before, is car access ok, parking etc?

Any advice would be great.

Happy to posit some advice when we get back. Do you have a firm accommodation address, happy to check it out (parking access etc, it's often shall we say 'tight' parking- makes my palms sweat) only minutes from Cannes and always driving through.

Here till Saturday and on the forum daily.

Sigh .......... some of us live here all the time.:bannana:

......... but it's raining and only 22C at the mo ........... was 28C and sunny yesterday, been a funny old summer - everything at least a month ahead, fruit, nuts, weather.

Must go .......... usual evening swim before dinner!

Provence is so wild west in summer ........ Russian and Yanks, plus arid landscape.

The south-west is so much more beautiful ......... but there's a reason the Romans called it "Aquitaine"!

Hey Greg, thanks for the very kind offer. No address yet. We forgot to book the same apartment as last year, which has now been let, and the ones we've found so far aren't up to much. Hoping to pick up a cancellation nearer the time.
