Unmarked Police Cars

SN59 CFD

Unmarked Volvo V70. Lothian and Borders police. This was on the A68 which is a trunk road between newcastle and edinburgh.

Note the lights intergrated into the body. The policeman challenged me as to why I was taking pics of his car. Told him I never seen an unmarked car. Didnt tell him was going to plaster it all over the web :D

Dont take notice of it and enjoy the roller coaster ride between Elishaw and Corbridge. The best roller coaster ride in the country and it free.:bannana:
I am not breaking the speed limit am I?

Shouldn't be allowed all motorway cars should be clearly marked after all the keep telling us that they are there for safety and not to catch and fine us

Noticed in the last week that Colchester now also have a 3 series and a 5 series Bmw unmarked. Grey and silver.

Simple answer to unmarked, marked, stealth cameras, fixed cameras et al

Do not break the speed limit for the given road.

*** , youre lucky he wasnt in the car.

Our glorious labour government have made it illegal to take photographs of policemen.

be warned..

You should know by now, you are not allowed to take pictures of any police officers or border patrols on duty anywhere in the world and get arrested for that.

New law says you cannot take photos that are “likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism”.

Doubtful that could be applied to a picture of a traffic car, IMHO.

Just the car. Its a publically witnessable event. No wrong doing on my part whatsoever

What police car - I only saw a Volvo with some aftermarket lights. If it was a police car, why did it not say so ?

Case dismissed.
