There was a psychiatric hospital nearby, and IIRC the guy was a patient.
 
You must swap names and addresses at the scene - you do not have to provide the other party with insurance details .

It is not compulsory to claim against your insurance , although most insurers stipulate that you must inform them of all incidents .

One of our oldest members, goes a lot further back than you or me.

Were you posting when Glojo was a regular. Such a shame he is not.

IIRC, I would agree with Dereks post. You are meant to inform insurers of any accident, your fault or not.
 
Jeez, guys I know he's an old member...but posting on a 4 year old thread as if it is current is a newbie mistake...no offence intended, just having a friendly go.
