I'll guess at 10,000 in bits and pieces since purchase...
Stay with the 8 holes would be my choice.
Cheers dude. Packed well and two tyres are brand new Michelins! V happy mate, many thanksMy thoughts too.
Hope you're happy with them Bill.
Bing - I would be, drop me a PM and if they're at the right price I'll keep them for the winter. I trust these are the 16" 500E ones?Have original 8 holes alloys with winters if you're interested ?

Cheers JJJ. It's certainly coming along. With the updated headliner, new floormats, polished wood pieces it'll look really good. Steering wise I think I will get another Sportline wheel and have it retrimmed for a thicker rim. It may not suit the car but it improves turning and driving experience imo.The car is looking great, really like the attention to detail especially under the bonnet. As for the interior I'd look at Ebony and a black leather steering wheel, just my preference. This maybe a bit too involved/messy to get right but what about a countersunk push button in the gear knob (in black leather ) for 1st gear selection or an ejector seat if you're married? Rock on.
Cheers dude. I think I will change out the steering to retain the originality of this Lorinser wheel and either sell it on or just keep it (and put it back in if I ever sell it).You can put a nano car paint product on the timber after polishing it, stops the dirt sticking, keeps the micro scratches out of it longer and makes for a shiny finish that lasts longer than it will without.
If you want a thicker rim wheel then you may want to sell the one you have now, you can get good money for those, and start with a plain leather one which will be easier to thicken up - although I have to say the 124 doesn't look quite right with a thick wheel IMO.
