w202 C240 Drivers side dash squeak

W202 C240 1998 Drivers side dash squeak (very annoying )
It does not seem to be external trim ie pulling and pushing trim while squeaking is taking place i may be wrong it only seems to happen when the outside temperature takes a drop on the cold side
Please help !!

They do tend to when its cold. Quite often the noise will be coming from the instrument cluster itself. Remove it (do a forum search on how to) and see if it has gone.

Sorry its that noise its done my brain in 60 mile trip with the radio on full blast.
I will take the cluster out and give it a try many thanks
