Yes it is genuine, complete with AMG spec sheet and owners manual, dont forget the C55 as uprated box ,4 bolt prop and larger diff with rear shell mods to accept the diff. Derestricted speed limitation and ECU mods. We carried out the 210 mirror and Command install but this is all easy tom revert to standard. The G560 is also on Ebay and a EVO 1

As far as I am aware, the C55 has a standard C43 running gear apart from ECU and engine, everything else is shared with the c43, as its all uprated anyway on the C43, even part numbers match C43 part numbers.

Im not doubting its a genuine C55, but there isnt that much that was done to them to bring them out, they basicallly have dropped the E55 lump into it. You actually think mercedes would go to all that trouble to produce 5 uk cars?

yes, a 208 CLK55 has a 4 bolt prop .. I have seen mine.

I had read that when they had decided to offer the c55, they had said that if c43 owners would bring their cars back to the factory amg could make changes and they would end up with the c55 hence maybe it comes up as a c43 when a check is done......
