What's it like at keeping up with all the others for all the 0-60 sprints you're going to have to time from now on.

tee hee - it's a 230TE so you can draw your own conclusions

What is strange is that the speedo is more accurate with this tyre wheel combo than the original 195/65/15 set up - I think Ian Walker will back me up on this as he got the same results - perhaps the W124 was originally designed for 16" rims?

I estimate that IF you have 270 you should get your 0-60 down to 5.21secs!! (ish)

I thought the c36 was kicking out 289 bhp and the 0-60 was 5.9 I read some specs before I bought it.

3rd run 9.72
just me in the car with half tank fuel

also for the hell of it
4th run 13.38 with gearbox in W mode

Not sure of BHP on C36. It ranges somewhere between 270 and 290 depending on which review/which fuel used etc...So I'm using 270 bhp as a ball park to get an indication. 0-60 times are officially 6.4 ish seconds although I've read a couple of reviews at 6.7 and some quicker. Has anyone actually tried a 0-60 run in their C36 to get a definitive answer. I've not tried myself yet as I haven't had the car long and its got a couple of things that need sorting before I go too mad in it.

I have just been reading a review on the new BMW535d, 0-62mph is 6.2 seconds!!!!! Yes 6.2 seconds and it's a big, dirty diesel car!

Totally off topic, but I thought it was interesting compared to around 6 seconds for a C36, a monstrous petrol engine in a medium sized car.

Yeah the 535d looks nice, serious premium over the standard single turbo 530d though(about £7k IIRC )
