Hi Guys

Anybody help with intermittent fault with drivers side seat belt warning light.

Only comes on intermittently and only just started happening in the last 2 days,if I unhook the belt a few times it cancels it out but then sometimes comes on again after a few minuets.

No codes coming up with star and sometimes it will go for days and never happens.

Car is a 2005 220cdi advantgarde auto.

I have the Haynes manual and a bit concerned it seems to be linked up to the airbags and warns not to mess with it unless you know what you are doing, but wondering why no codes are coming on Star.

Thanks
Norman

Go and see your dealer about getting the seat belt receptacle replaced.

Go and see your local specialist and get them to re-check it. I expect the seat belt buckle or the seat recognition pad is faulty

Sorry for the late reply but just come back from holiday.

It was just dust and fluff where the seat belt clips into the locking part, slight drop of WD40 and is now working fine.
