W204 Boot random open?

Last night I parked and locked my car as normal. Couple of hours later I checked everything was OK outside, it was very wet and windy, only my greenhouse was suffering. So I went to bed.

Got up this morning and went to work, except the boot of the car was wide open. No damage, and no sign of water in the boot, so it had been closed through most of the wind and rain. Just wide open. Nothing blown about or touched.

Keys were tucked away safe, so no one fiddled with them. The car was still locked and the alarm set.

Very odd. Anyone else encountered anything similar?

It's happened to me a couple of times, I put it down to perhaps having something in my pocket pressing the key.

I did consider that, but was nowhere near the keys. Possible that the boot latch is at the extreme end of tolerance, I suppose, and the wind caught it right.

Or its haunted

Maybe water ingress causing strange happenings?
