Bought a 340i estate from a BMW dealer at the start of the pandemic, covered 10k miles in 12-months and sold to WBAC for a £500 profit - that was nice.

Picked up a 2018 C63 with a 4 year warranty (2 year MB + 2 year MB dealer) a few months back. Made the purchase with my eyes open, it’s my (occasional) daily that will do the odd track day. I hope to keep for a good few years.

I do find it bizarre when people obsess over values, if money is that tight get a 320d. This type of car is meant to be used and enjoyed, like all cars it will cost a fair wedge in running costs and depreciation. Go out there and enjoy your car, it will motivate you to start saving/earning for your next.
