Morning all, hoping that someone can give me some guidance. I've looked at a number of posts on this, but drawing a blank as to what my problem could be ...
Noticed on the way home last night that I have very little backlighting to the main dashboard dials, even though the 'pointers' seem to be very bright. Thinking that I had dimmed everything down, I tried truning the rheostat up, but it was already on it's maximum. I did the normal swing up and down to see if that made a difference, and all that it did was turn the dimmed brightness down further (and then back to where it was).
So, the backlighting is working but dimmer than I remember so far (I've only had the car a couple of weeks). The dimmer switch is working, but on a reduced/dimmer maximum brightness.
Any thoughts? Other things I can try without taking anything apart? Could I have adjusted some kind of setting within the vehicle by accident?
