W210 E320 1999 Driver leather seat wear.

I have noticed on my drivers seat excessive wear on the right hand ridge of the back of the seat. This is caused by constant 'friction' of getting in and out of car (rubbing one's jeans against the leather)
Has anyone ever come up with a remedy to repair this or can something be affixed to the affected area to avoid further damage.
Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt that any coachtrimmer worth his reputation would offer a superficial fix. These individual panels are easily replaced with a good match to the surrounding panels, especially if the surrounds are clean.

He wont bodge and do touch ins, he does exactly as you say and replaces the damaged piece of leather.
