w210 Estate rear washer leak

The rear washer does not deliver water and water is leaking out the bottom of the rear door. I'm assuming the pipe is loose at the nozzle, but how do I get to to it?

Do I remove the whole rear door trim? What about these plastic poppers?

On the C55 you have to remove the entire trim. The pipe has either come off the motor or the joint at the motor has cracked - requiring a new motor. Really pants design by Mercedes. I have never had any other make of car that leaks every time you get a frost.

Any clue as to how to remove the rear trim? These plastic poppers are tricky little things.

They will normally pull out with some long nose pliers. You pull gently on the inner stud when that pops up you can then pull out the entire plug. Fiddly for sure.

OK, thanks. I was trying that but feared breaking them...

Will adopt a gentler approach.

If you break them they sell replacement packs at main dealers or similar packs (just as good) in Halfords

They are stubborn! Only one broke...

It would appear that rather than just 'coming' off the pipe has broken off.

There is a small black plastic grommet that has broken. Are these available for repair or is a new motor needed?

The part is A 124 869 00 24. Its a right angled plastic connector.
