W210 wiper wind noise & wipability

Hi, I really want to do something to reduce the wind whistle from 2002 w210 mono wiper. Is there a spoiler to increase downforce or redirect airflow thus reducing the noise (humming) at 110km plus .
Also , apart from the noise - I looked at the Aero Flat wipers on Ebay.Yes they are quite cheap but are they any good and wipe the rain better as my wiper always leaves residue and doesnt be very efficent (LIKE ITS NOT TOUCHING AT THE END OF THE WIPER AND ALWAYS DRIPS DOWN THE SCREEN AFTR THE WIPER COMES TO REST) and do they make less noise. I am very fed up with the noise especially on 5 hr drives .

Those cheap and cheerful aero blades...the best I've ever had. Being using them for about 4 years now.

Hi guys, I do not really whant to start a new thread. Hope you wont get mad at me (I'm new ) I just whant to ask if it's ok to take w210 to the car wash..because some times I really don't have time for cleaning out side so I just whant to pop in the car wash (BP for example) Would the car wash do any harm to the Mercedes badge on the bonet? Because I really don't whant to lose it or damage it somehow cheers guys for all answers

£29 for a new star would be the least of your problems!!!

Use a jet wash instead if I was you.....

I know that £29 is not much but It would look ugly without it I bought a new fog lamp more than month ago and I still didn't fit it on the car

the star is the reason that I worried but If you say it's ok I'll trust you guys

I took my car through an attended car wash a while back and the attendant rotated the bonnet star through ninety degrees so it goes through edge on rather than face on.

Top tip.
