Your new one is a '94? Don't think there were any significant changes from when the R129 launched in 1989/1990. The first big set of changes were late 1996 ('97 model year), then again in 1999.

nice one a good r129 is a swee ride. just make sure to keep on top of the paint otherwise it will end up like this

That is horrendous! Looking forward to getting my DA polisher on it! I hope it has no issues like that one ... What a mess.

Agree my understanding was the two main updates were later. Be interesting to find out about any subtleties though.

Not many 80's designed convertibles you'd walk away from after a high speed crash & roll like that.

M-B supposedly spent more on the development of that pop-up roll bar than the rest of the car!
