Has anybody ever used a water tank with a delivery hose dropped in and connected to the pressure washer. Does this work good enopugh to supply a powerfull enough feed to the washer.

    Any advice taken

it works fine, the water level must be higher then karcher and you have to syphon the pipe full with water before connecting to karcher. better way is to have a tap at the bottom of the tank.

Water from the tap in my area is cr@p leaves smear marks. I use a rain water butt feeding my Karcher. The feed pipe has the filter. Works like a dream.

Karcher PW's generally don't self prime, their motor's run too fast to do this and you could damage it in the process. The only way to run it from a tank successfully is as someone else has said - get a decent sized tank, make sure it's higher than your PW and fit a tap to the bottom with a hose.
