We buy any car are an absolute joke!

I think you would get a similar result with any vehicle just tried a Rapide with 2000 miles 62 plate £71k.

Looks like a good offer to me. What were you expecting, the market is clogged with poverty engine small execs.

Funny but C63s are ten-a-penny at the moment.

I love it how this place gets so bitchy so quick:D:D Becoming boring though:(

Disregard me, i have drank almost a full bottle of M&S finest 14% Red:p:p

I haven't been here as long as most but i must admit there seems to be alot of bitchin on here at times

Anyway back on topic, as above I think it's not what the car is worth but due to the fact they(WBAC.com) are not desperate for them and some people are just lazy and would sell for the convenience of it, be it at a silly price.

Dealers will pay you less for a trade in as they need to make a mark up on it and private sales tend to fetch more. Each price is different as the car has a different value to different buyers.

Have valued my cars in the past and have been shocked at the low price they offered. My last car a Audi TT 02 reg was valued at £2200, I put it up for sale at £4700, I sold it in 24 hrs, that was only last June when the market hit rock bottom. 3 years before I had a Lexus is200, they valued it for £1800 sold within 5 days priced at £3500. Don't use these guys unless 1:-your desperate or 2:- you have a shed. I say this to all my friends, with little time and patience you can sell your vehicle for allot more!

Its called running a Business , to cover Expenses & Overheads (like web sites for us to play on ) and making a profit, Can't see much wrong there
Never seen them forcing anyone to sell . And as you proved its much more profitable to do it yourself.

Never said it was a problem trying to make money, of course they want to make a profit they are a business this is fairly obvious and I didn't realise I had to explain how a business works. What I am trying to say is that you are better to make the profit your self then give it to someone else including the dealer who also offers ridiculously low prices on part ex.

I had a customer recently that had sold his car to wbac instead of part exchanging it. He had only bought the car 3 months prior as an approved used from BMW Norfolk, the car was a 11 plate 528i. He paid £23.5k for it and sold it to wbac for £25,400!!

Your customer clearly had a result.

Hey MrVix, take up the challenge and ask for a valuation on the C63.

My money says it will be a lower % of list than the OP's car :thumb:

And James Corden puts his name to this firm by doing the voice over, they are complete rubbish.

I really don't get this continued criticism and feigned surprise about the valuation of a Vehicle, anyone (foolish enough ?) who buys a new Car is going to take a real shoeing in the first few months you loose the VAT as soon as it turns a wheel !

If you are selling a used Car to any Dealer irrespective of Age the Dealer has to give (some) Warranty , Prepare the Car for Sale , make a profit to cover his costs and pay VAT on the margin of profit after taxable costs

As far as I am aware no one is coerced into selling them a vehicle

They are a Business with Overheads and Staff out to make as much money as possible.

They are going to offer the minimum on any valuations because some one somewhere is going to be desperate enough to accept a derisory offer to conclude a quick sale

I'm guessing its a Bit like having Negative equity in your House

Good luck to them !!

Thats Trade speak for we don't want it but will take a punt on it at the right price, after all most people buying a Car like this will want to buy from a main dealer

That's very weird. The price he paid for the car is about right, how on earth can WBAC have got that so wrong.
