We need a Landrover sub-forum

Very nice, SPX. :thumb:

You still prefer semi-skimmed to full fat then ;) :D

Do they have the same 4.4 twin turbo TDV8 as the FFRR? What colour is the interior?

Only thing this'll be covered in is the remnants of peasants I've crushed after parking on the kerb.

Hahaha... I always used to make those sort of jokes with my mates when I had the FFRR

A white RR sport... Bold statement that one! I think it's more acceptable up country. Wouldn't really go well in the Cornish country side

To be honest black would have been my first choice but white is such a good seller (when the time comes obviously) plus white shows off the Autobiography kit more than black.

Yeah understandable. I like the interior though! The difference between the sport I had and the sport you've just bought are worlds apart considering they are the same shape. Mine was just sh*t! Horrible interior compared to the FFRR but the face lifted ones actually have a good layout going on with what looks to be far superior materials to the first sports.

Back from our one's inaugural journey - went away for the weekend.
First impressions are positive - it drives lovely, and the TDV8 is just effortlessly torquey.
Have some bits and bobs to do on it (it is a landrover lol).
Looking forward to driving to Italy in it this summer, and I haven't looked forward to that journey for a hell of a long time!!

Likewise picked ours up on Saturday. Once I'd worked out (with Jonnyboys help) why I could not get fuel in I've been a happy bunny.

As john I've a few jobs to do. Had to order side steps, and discovered that the 12v sockets did not work - just a fuse.

Drives lovely, sounds superb.....

Never mind a Land Rover forum, at this rate we will need a TDV8 sub-forum!

What we need is a moderator with the guts to move this to...Defectors to Other Marques Forum.

I thought this was a Mercedes Benz club?

And Mercedes-AMG.... plus Mercedes-Maybach.

A few photos taken on this crisp winter morn...

And after the most depressing interior I've ever had the misfortune to sit in the X5, this is absolute heaven:

I guess it is inevitable that owners of Mercedes would soon want to move up to the next level though.

No-one will post - they are all steadfast in lane 3 holding up the performance cars :D.

No that's usually Jags.

Another vote for an RR subforum here!!.

Here's mine, freshly washed:

No chrome or blacked out windows :D.

Yeah me too.

I moved to Mercedes as I wanted luxury, but have tested a couple of Range Rovers and Discos again recently and hate to say it, but they have got Mercedes licked in that department.

I tried a year old ML350 with 13000 miles on it against a 5 year old RRS with 80k miles on it, and the Merc felt a bit cheap in comparison. I now totally get why when people move to RR they never move away again.
