Weistec SuperCharger has ARRIVED!!!!

SavMan said:
Depends as some years have a different final ratio, the 2012 had a final drive ratio of 2.85 and 7th gear is 0.72. It will achieve 34.8mph per 1000rpm. Max rpm is 7200. So theoretical 250+mph

Normal c63 rpm 6800

Black series 7200.

So....Does that mean a 507 can go straight to stage 2 ?? hmmmmm : )

Stage 2 requires long tube headers.

Stage 1 and stage 2 have the same 2.3L supercharger Stage 3 has the 3.0L Supercharger.

The Stage 1 increases the exhaust note dramatically and it pops and bangs on downshifts even more than before (with the Eurocharged Re-map)

With Long Tube headers on and a sports exhaust I dare say it would become un-driveable as a daily driver......i.e the cabin noise would get annoying.

How ever if its just a toy then straight to Stage 2 and start looking for a good tyre supplier ha ha

Stage 2 also has a smaller pulley so increases boost by 2psi to 8psi

Good point Sav I forgot about that.

I think Weistec also supply extra underwear for stage 2 that you take with you when the roads are damp or wet...:D

And one of these

Well IF Merc sort me out with wheels I will keep it as I love the car, its just that the only person that *ucks me is Mrs H20 MRV ; ) but enough of that : )

Your charger looks amazing Lee, I cant wait to see it in the flesh as it were!!!
Do you think the car will be stable enough at high speed? My 507 coupe seems a lot more planted than my old 63 ppp saloon, KW3s perhaps??

Enjoy Bud!!!

Its pretty scary in the wet and I have not had a opportunity to open it up as such (I will obviously only do that on a private track / airfield). So how it would handle at high speed I cant comment yet.

Definitely suspension upgrades next.... The KW's with the DDC look the business so I think that may be next on the shopping list.

Along with the Parachute:thumb:

Well I have just give Acid a shout for Kw3s for mine, perhaps he would get a better price for two sets? Bear in mind I still need a diff, and wheels.....So that's the nasty end of £6 to 7k....all in, No wonder I am never back on shore!!

Hey

I will work on this asap to see what i can do on the price. Maybe if we can get a few more people intrested we can do a group buy for the coilovers and the the weistec SC kit??

I'm not reading this anymore!

I will end up with a bloody touring car at this rate. Not only that the Mrs will kill me if she finds out how much the sc kit and kw's are!

Anyway good work Acid, if you were closer then that would have been a big help for me.

ow man! this is the last part I want to do with my wife's car! Everything is changed except my engine,….she doesn't want it and I think this is too much for her:crazy:

But you just did it! Damn…..:thumb:

Wait for Stage 3......... :D

Acid - what do you do with the original super charger and... next question... could this original charger be fitted to other normally aspirated 113 engines?

Has anyone done it?

Perhaps this could be a way of offsetting the Weistec cost by selling on the original charger to those with 113 engines that have the modding bug but without such deep pockets...
