I've not found much information about the SLC63 AMG; "early 2016" is all I can find, and speculation about a 4L twin turbo V8.

Would that be demos etc ready for Q2 ordering for Q3 delivery?

Just thinking as I normally change cars in April/May and was going to think about leasing a new one rather than buying low milage used next year.

Also what would be the best time to see if there would be deals on the to be replaced SLK55 AMG before the SLC is in production?

Heard good things about fuel economy on the 55 when it's running on 4cyl.

I haven't heard anything about this at all. I believe the SLC is arriving late spring 2016, but there has been no confirmation about which engine will be going in the AMG model. I think you're likely to get the best deal on an AMG now before the minor model change, or in April before the SLC arrives

Hi JBD I sold my s class and the buyer just contacted me saying Mercedes can't trace the car with the number plate so can't order the parts for it , the number plate was given to me by DVLA when I took my private plate off , I my self have had problems ordering part for my slk as it had private plate ,surely thay can use the vin number ? That's what we used when I was a body repairer any help is much appreciated

Have they tried searching with your old private plate number if it hasn't been updated yet?

Yes, they can do it off the chassis number, rather than the reg. If he gives that a go, he should be fine

Had a towbar fitted by third party today, they are recommended by my dealership.
My active park assist has been permanently disabled, is that right?
The manual suggests it should still work unless you are actually towing.

It should be in when you're not towing. Are you sure they've not just disconnected it?

Is the W205 saloon/estate going to be face lifted any time soon? Is there going to be a revision of the screen, i.e changing it to one that disappears into the dash, and could I order a sport line premier plus without runflats?

There will be a higher residual value on the AMG line, but it won't be enough to cover the price difference. If you tell me your annual mileage I can check the residual after 3 years on a pcp and how it differs
