I’m ordering the new W205 C Class coupe specs: C 200 AMG Line Coupé with Premium package in Polar White.



I wanted to know if the new coupe has a few features that’s I have seen on different websites:



Automatic belt feeder?



Lighting on the door handles when unlocking the car?



Lighting on the side mirrors when unlocking the car?

The belt feeder has been added from June production. The other two you'll get in with premium package, so don't worry

I have a C350e with the standard 17" wheels ... will the 19" AMG wheels fit without any issues ?

If I order them will the dealer want to revise the CO/2 figure on the V5 (I suspect not)

Emissions figure is as supplied new. Any modifications to wheels after registration will not affect it

Nice choice. Am looking at a class coupe myself. Test drove it the other day and loved it. Was just trying to choose the best engine for me.

Yes, i currently have a W204, but it was 4 months old when i got it so i could not spec it to my liking. they gave me a really good offer it would have been stupid to say no.

i test drove it too nice, to me the space in the back of the car is smaller then the current W204 and not a big fan of the tablet-style display but can live with it.

You'd have to order them from parts, as they're not a factory option. So the CO2 wouldn't be affected. I think they would look a bit silly on a sport trim level though.

It's from production date, not order date. The night package is from June too. You'll get black on the sides of the spoken, black trims in the bumpers, black mirrors and a black belt line

I was massively impressed with the 3 litre V6 in the SLC43 and SL400. I think that engine is going to really sell well, particularly with 4Matic, it sounds great. This SLC43 is a lot better than the 55

This^ I was so impressed with the SL400 we chose it over the 500. I know I go on about it but it's a great engine and is going to get a lot of fans in the models available in the UK once the test drives start. Not only is it fast and comfortable it's also getting more economical as it beds in and long term I expect to be averaging 28-30 mpg in a performance hard top convertible.

We have a 333hp version so I imagine it's just that little bit better with 367hp in the new models. It also sounds great.

I think they 'might' stick out too far of the arches if the wheels are too wide? My car has some extra plastic trim on the arches that stick out to comply (at least they are there so MB can legally sell the car with wider wheels I'm told). Though I've seen cars with aftermarket wheels that stick out. Bit like number plates which don't have a BS number or plate manufacturer address which technically are illegal, but no one notices.

Just to let people know, the new C Cabriolet has been put back 3 months, so won't begin production until around September time now.

Hi JBD,

Do you have any ideas as to when pricing and UK launch dates for E350e and GLC350e will be confirmed?

Also, I received a mail shot from BMW advising they were upgrading the i3 battery capacity by 50% from this summer. Do you believe MB will follow suit on the PHEV models any time soon?

It's not compatible with NTG 5*1, so no. It'll be on facelift

Quick question about the Mercedes me service. I read earlier that there is a SIM card located in the vehicle to send and receive the data, but can I use that sim to surf the web on the comand online, or do I still need to connect to my own phone?

I have a W205 Sport with the p+ pack
