Drove the van to Manchester & back (fitted windows at ma mams house).

Despite my minor irritations I have really grown to love it and how it’s kitted out.

With the single passenger seat Mrs Ant was in total comfort unlike the last Vito with its upright bench seat.

Drove it around...a lot! Just wanted to be sure my EGR fault was history....so far so good. Also popped in to see a dealer friend of mine...one of the ones I sometimes deliver cars for (part of my little side hustle!)...and next week he wants me to run a nearly new..... 2023 but only 3000 miles on it.....M5 Performance up to a another trader in Coventry.. ..should be fun as I love those cars .. not driven the Performance version though.. with its whole 17 horse power more....so 617 bhp!.... the bad news is that there is nothing to come back.... so its a long train ride with the great unwashed......I hate public transport.

Agreed, bench seats in vans are generally a bit rubbish. When I ran my T4s I always specified single passenger seats; actually Captain's chairs with armrests.

Whilst I do acknowledge that comfort aspect, the"if you must" third seat option that a passenger bench offers makes it my choice.

Absolutely agree. However, when I ordered our first Vito 2016 our daughter was 10 years old and IF we went out in the van it was as a family.

Now she’s 19 the need for the 3 of us in the van is obsolete so chose comfort (bench seat is not far off 95 degree upright) for the passenger rather than maximum occupancy.

Fixed some sheared bolts that hold wheel arch liners in, new brake pipes, flexible hoses, new front struts, springs and top bearings.

Ordered front/rear wiper blades for the car as existing drivers side one is obviously past its best.

So thought I may as well order replacements for the van too as they’re coming up for 3 years old.

Love popping on new blades. Nowt quite like that first ‘swipe’.

Polished this off my bonnet....its clear coat damage caused by seagull poo. Must have have been very acidic as it only on there a few hours....old school T Cut followed by Super Resin removed it luckily.....sorry about pic quality.....but it was not easy to see with the camera..... but very obvious with the naked eye.

Changed my door mirrors to the dynamic sequential signals which flash amber then white then back to white which matches the puddle lights and the DRL lights looks better at night when you lock or unlock the car

Washed my last night to drive it to SADCASE tonight..it rained sand and on and off all morning and I didn't have time to wash it after work.....hid it at the back!
